BetOnline

Assassin Fulldog

BetOnline is another respected sportsbook that has been around for as long as I've been in the game. Their headquarters are located south of me, down in Panama City, Panama. Ahhh Panama - I've spent some time there. Great place, but the humidity is unbearable. When in Panama I remember interviewing a few former BOL employees. They were looking to jump over to BetUs so they could return to their native country of Costa Rica. Turns out I must have a decent eye for talent, as most of those hires still work at BetUs today. I like BOL for their big pre-game limits and the fact that they're not scared to use their own numbers on games (within reason of course). That is a lost art in this day and age. Over the years, I've noticed BOL to be a good indicator of where game lines are moving. Extremely valuable info for anyone playing this sports betting game for keeps.

Their Prop & Live limits are pretty shit. Another pain in the ass is how they behave when you start regularly beating them. Sharps can (eventually) expect one of the oldest/dirtiest tricks in the industry - the ol' spin delay when trying to submit a bet, followed by the line moving against you. It's a classic F U and basically handcuffs you from making Live bets. Lastly, I'm not sure what this is all about, but their website seems to go offline for a few days, 1-2 times/year.

BOL doesn't offer near as many markets compared to some of the other giants on the board. They're probably 5th or 6th on my hit list when we see a Live betting opportunity. No complaints about how easy and quick it is to submit wagers....as long as you're not deemed a winner. If you are, it's next to impossible to get anything in without having the line moved against you. Player props are available at BOL, but I don't find value in them very often.

Payout Pisky

BetOnline is another old-school sportsbook that has been around for 20+ years. They're one of the Caribbean books that used to play the whole Western Union deposit/withdrawal game - similar to 5 Dimes and Cris. Since they've made the jump to accepting BTC, we haven't used anything else to get in/out. With the emergence of crypto, deposit limits are basically limitless. As for payouts, I don't remember any horror stories with BOL, but I do remember having a weekly limit that they were firm on. I want to say 5k per 7 days, but don't quote me on that. Helpful reminder once again: any time you're depositing and/or withdrawing from a sportsbook in crypto, pay attention to those conversion rates! Majority are crooks I tell ya.
